THE JUNTO LAWN

To shape the future, we’re called to be informed, engaged and active in our local communities. Volunteerism is a critical component to embracing our responsibility to answer critical needs in and promote equity. During a time when the nation faces a volunteer shortage, a local organization Besa is mobilizing volunteers to give back to the community at an average of almost 100 hours every day, all 365 days of the year. Hear from Besa CEO Matthew Goldstein on the impact you can make through volunteerism, along with Executive Director of Franklinton Cycle Works Jonathan Youngman on how they serve the local Franklinton community as a nonprofit community bike shop. Then dig in and volunteer by assembling a bike that will be donated to local kids in need while enjoying brews from local Land Grant Brewery.
